this is what should be said to you by your lover this morning....

waking up to realize
just how much I despise
still another bright sunrise
unable to show me your sweet eyes

next to me in bed I wish
pulling you to me ascloseasthis
delivering a loving kiss
rekindling last night's bliss

far away but in my mind
creating fantasies of this kind
hoping a way I will find
to make you forever mine

I'm fortunate enough to have a guy friend who's been my all as a friend, and I can only dream what he would be like as more than a friend...and in the near future I may have that dream come true.

Actually, guys like that do exist. Unfortunately, many of them have serious battle scars that preclude them from being themselves. Thank the lying, cheating, asshole women out there that steal the innocence and hearts of good guys.

That leaves men, and women I know it goes both ways...that either run and hide from real relationships, or they just get in, get theirs, and get out before they can be used again.

Thankfully, I've had some women friends that have reminded me over and over that not all women are fucked up...it's the only thing keeping me from being a misogynist sometimes.
