How often do F&Sers visit the story side of the site and read stories?

I discovered the story side first. When I know that I have an hour or so alone I often visit again for inspiration, probably a couple of times a week.

Not as much as before, as it's hard to find new ones that I like and fiction doesn't do as much for me as it once did. I have a few favourite writers but they are mostly inactive.

You should try the "Authors index" or "Authors hub" you'll get the latest new stories of all categories.

Do you mean to find new stories by specific authors? I might look there but I generally just look at their profile pages now and then. I use the tags system to find new stories too, but not that often any more. I'm generally looking for stories in a particular niche that doesn't have a category on the site, so I have to search a lot to find them, and it's not worth the effort these days. The stories aren't any worse than before, but I'm no longer a teenager for whom the stories are exciting discoveries.

I had some favorites as a teenager that I re-read many times back then. Looking at the now, I still like some of them, but others are godawful.

Like someone else mentioned, the stories are what turned me on to this site, still go and see if anything new catches my eye. Let the imagination run wild as I read different stories to appease the kink I’m feeling at the moment.

Yes I first found this site foe the stories...love the gang bang stories to live out fantasies I'll never get to do in rl

Actually there is one issue with the site that could be fixed and that would help. That's the difficulty of connecting an author from the forum side of the site to the story side. There are several authors I read and like, who I found because I liked their forum posts and took the trouble to locate their story pages. That's currently an annoying process involving pasting their numeric user ID into a url. It would be great if the forum profiles included an author link and vice versa.

If authors are smart, they include a link to their story page in their forum signature. Alas, many aren't that smart.

Yes. I first found Lit for the stories. It wasn't until years later I came to the forums. Still check them out several time a week.
