West Virginia has gone hard Republican in the last two decades. 68.62% of voters in West Virginia voted for Donald Trump in 2020, making it Trump's second strongest state in the nation, only behind Wyoming. There was only one county in West Virginia that gave Trump less than 50% of the vote in 2020, and he even won that county with a plurality.

What is sad is that you don't find the very idea of an abortion pill disgusting. Notice pro choice people are people who are alive. The choice is ultimately the woman's and if she is married or in a relationship than she should discuss it with her partner. I was I guess the rare case, I wanted the baby but she didn't. At first she did and God In heaven how I loved her so much. I bought 4 self pregnancy tests after work and headed to her brother's house and all four of them were positive, I know it was probably wrong of me but I held her and declared my love and commitment to her and our child. When I drove her home I parked the car and opened her door and hugged her and kissed her face and taking her hand I led her to her front door she asked me "what are you doing?" I told her I was going to sit right beside her as we both told her mother and older sister.•

waiting for her when I brought her back to her brother's house and I laid next to her just holding her and stroking my fingers through her beautiful hair. No words were said, I took the advice from some murdering institution named PLAN PARENTHOOD

I will never forget the look of absolute love and respect she gave me. The look of safety and confidence in me. By the end of the conversation her mother was crying and hugging me with smiles. Long story short someone got in her head (I learned it was an ex boyfriend) she got an abortion and moved to another state and cheated on me)
That was 16 years ago and I have not been on a date or had relations with a woman. I was gutted and it almost killed me. I took her to the clinic even though I wouldn't pay a dime for the abortion (her sister in law did) I sat in the waiting room. I had flowers

The only other Catholic candidate among the major parties was Al Smith in 1928, who faced widespread discrimination and rumor. There were anti-Catholic rumors in 1928 that if Smith became president, he would invite the Pope (Pius XI) to live at the White House and that the Pope would run the country by proxy.
Notice how anti-choice people are the only ones to force their morality on those people who disagree? Pro-choice people allow women to act according to their conscience and wishes on the abortion issue. With a pro-choice position, if you don't morally agree with abortion then simply don't have an abortion. With an anti-choice position, it's more a case of "I don't care if you want abortion to be available, I'm not going to allow you to make that choice".
