For me its important, to be intimate with someone on a higher level than 'just sex' I have to have that soul connection.

I have to be emotionally involved with a person too. I can't remember ever being intimate with a person that I wasn't emotionally involved with. Though I feel uncomfortable with sex without the emotional involvement, I'd be game for giving it a try sometime, just as an experiment...like a 2 on 1 or something like that, or a with a casual acquaintance. I have to be emotionally involved with a person. I can't remember ever being intimate with a person that I wasn't emotionally involved with.

I also feel the same way. I've been intimate with 6 men in my life. All of them were long time relationships and I can't imagine making love with a man when there are no intimate feelings.
