Do you like vanilla...

Favorite most of the times: mint, best with chocolate chips in it, and stracciatella in a cone. I also like many other flavors, too. Problem is I don't eat ice-cream so very often, so I never know which one to pick.
But strawberry/vanilla (if it's real vanilla, if not stracciatella) ice cream with strawberries, whipped cream and strawberry sauce in summer is a favorite, too.

Edit: I just googled it, and it is indeed also an italian wedding soup. So yes, you're right, it is actually soup as well. But also ice cream. Very yummy.

Apparently thesoup is a broth with egg in it that's stirred in while the soup is cooked, with other stuff added depending on the region of Italy.

Theice-cream is without added tastes, made from just cream, with chocolate flakes in it.

So besides the fruit flavours ( peach , apricot , strawberry , coconut, banana, blackberry , melon et cetera ) which in summer are a true bliss , my winter favourite flavours are " crema" ( we call vanilla this way ), "gianduia " (Piedmontese nut chocolate) , hazelnut and caramel ( although this one must be made really well otherwise it's easily too sweet for my tastes ) .

Waffle cones are my favorites for single scoops of ice cream but I also enjoy banana splits if only I have one or more people to share them with.

I adore several flavors. Pistachio Almond, Praline's and Cream, Bewitched (only from Baskin and Robbins, only in October) and Heath Bar Crunch are my current favs.

I like cherry icecream with chocolate shavings in it. I forget what it's called, but it is TOTALLY awesome. (chocolate and cherries - anyone noticing a trend here? ) I like it in a dish, cause then I don't make such a huge mess eating it.
