I have a couple of hours peace and quiet here... the man's at Karate and the kids at a birthday party.... with them all on summer holidays the last couple of weeks and a few more to go it's lovely right now having peace and quiet..... :)

So would you rather spend time alone to do your thing or have friends and family around you all day????

I don't mind being alone at my house.

I can actually read a real book for once or masturbate. Either way, I have a good time.

I live alone and revel in my solitude. I think I would go mad having people around all the time. Well...unless it was you of course

I love the few hours a day that is "my" time. No kids, no husband, no nobody. I can read, watch tv, play here and no one to interupt me!

I havn't got a good book to read at the moment so that only leaves.....

For the past year, I've worked a different shift then my S/O/roomate and I've had several hours each week day to myself. Granted that most of that time is spent with the daily housework and such, but I've come to depend on having MY time at home, and I resent times like now, when he's on holidays and I have him crowding me. I know how awful that sounds...to think of your partner in terms of bothersome and "in your face", but with him around, I just can't do anything *I* want to do....I find I'm spending MORE time out running in the morning or taking longer baths, or going to the gym more frequently just to get a little ME time.

Whew...talk about runon sentences!

No it does not sound awful, I know how you feel. 24/7 not good.

I always enjoy being home alone, and look forward to it a great deal. It rejuvenates me and helps me to gain a little perspective and alot of rest.

I am like a sponge, I soak up everything going on around me, and have a great deal of difficulty concentrating anyway. When I am alone, I am content and peaceful.

Though I enjoy and love my 2 little brat children more than life, I frequently need time to myself.
I would much prefer being alone than being with anyone other than them, and my man. I don't do crowds or people very well, and much prefer small, intimate encounters with just a few.

I live alone, and couldn't imagine sharing a house with anyone again.

This is what I need... the quiet and the solitude.

I bring the chocolate fudge, the biscuits and "le sucre à la crème".
You make the coffie

Sometimes I enjoy being alone. It gives me a chance to catch up on my reading or writing. Or like today, I finished priming the walls for my alcove. :)

I thrive on it, crave it, NEED it! I want to be a hermit someday.
If I were to ever win the lottery, I would move to a small house somewhere, and indulge my hermit fantasies.

I also love time alone, but I also love being with someone, not really doing anything. Just being.

A sad question for me....I am alone most of the time....before getting divorced, I never realized what I would be missing...things I hadn't thought about...things like eating alone...being sick alone....the divorce was still a great decision even after 12 years...but there is nothing like having people around.

there is nothing like peace and quiet....I like to spend it outdoors though...maybe rollerblading or jogging through the park.
