I just heard this....

6 x 2 = 12

12 inches in a ruler

Queen Elizabeth is a ruler

And also a ship

Ships sail on the ocean

Oceans have fish in them

Fish have fins

The Finns fought the Russians

Russians are red

And that's why fire engines are red because they are always rushin' around

Boy do I need a life.

Come to think of it. Maybe they are red because red is the color of blood and that is a universal warning sign.

~whoosh~

One just went by! Sirens ablaze! I wonder where the fire is?

Well that could be true, I'm willing to concede that this might not be 100% factual, but my way is more fun.

Ya got me, good.

Bright not just red, but all bright colors can be a warning sign. :)

Yes, but I might fall in love with you then.

(I'm in therapy, ya know).

I thought they were red so that they can easily be seen if they accidently drive into a fjord?
