BTW, I know that Ish's thread raises a lot of hackles, and he tends to take a very confrontational tone when defending men against what he seems to see as "attack" by women, or culture, or whatever. But, if you can look past that initial reaction, he often has something to say, too.

I rarely ask a question I don't already know the answer to.

If people don't or can't understand the facts...or are running a scam...perhaps they shouldn't be participating when I'm around.

Some people around here are very good at a thing I coined as "Thread Chess".

They bring a discussion up and already have an offense and defense set up before they hit the initial submit reply button.

Am I attacking them? No. Do they sit back and watch people jump on the bait? IMHO yes.

If you're talking about what I call "trap threads"....I think Lavender, Muff & Ish are the local homecoming Queens on those. Maybe DCL too, except I often think he's the only one that gets his jokes.

I like to think I'm more straight up than any of them when I start threads.
