Haha. No worries, alot of people don't know what it is.

It's the zodiac symbol for Scorpio. I had a friend of mine draw it up for me.

I have 6 and counting.

I have 6 and counting. Hubby and I hope to get one together soon, the same one on corresponding sides of our bodies. I had my first one done in 2001. Once you sit in the chair and feel the needles pounding on your skin, you just have to get another. I got the first as a right of passage of sorts, to mark the end of a crazy period in my life. I got the 6th this February for my 30th birthday, a butterfly (a symbol for the soul) to represent the finding of my self this year.

There's something about being inked that changes you. I find that it is akin to embracing a reality, being marked with the symbol for it. Anyway, as I change through time, I might modify a few of the tats, too, to reflect how I'm growing.

Have 3, right pec, leftshoulder, left calf. The next one is in the planning stages. Wife has one on left breast, next one also in planning stages. Can't wait till the next, they're just addictive!

Well, keep in mind that our guys are probably a little tired because, y'know, our season lasted longer than yours and then there was a LOT of celebrating to do. I doubt the Sabres did much partying this year, though I'm sure there was a lot of drinking when they saw their new uniforms. Yeah, those are suh-weeet. *snickers*

Besides, it's one game. There are still 80 more to be played.

I wonder if the Sabres would rather be starting the season with two losses, a tie -- and the Stanley Cup sitting in their house? After all, it's not like they're going to go undefeated.

I've got one arm that's almost completly sleeved.. just a couple blank spots I need to get filled in sometime. a couple on the other arm that I'll someday get around to finishing. A couple on my Neck, 3 on my back and one of my legs done from the knee down.
