Do you get horny while writing?

I used to, but it got in the way of my already glacial writing process. Now I try to push any horn onto the back-burner on the rare occasions between work and childcare when I actually have more than 30 minutes at any one time free.

I've only written four stories, but I get horny on the first pass-through and rough draft. Then as I go back and edit it over and over again I lose that lovin feeling.

In my one horror story, I based the male lead on an ex-boyfriend so I wanted to punish him. It was not so arousing for me. I'll probably stick to humor, it's my wheel house.

But do they have romantic elements ?
I love BDSM MM romances because they have kinda "against all odds" element, that makes the story more interesting than simple sex smuts. They are very difficult to pull off in believeable way, so I search for such rare treasures.
Do you know "Want you to want me" from author DrHendersen here on Lit?
If not, I recommend it to you strongly. It's a contest winner, actually!

Yes, but more by imagining the response of readers than by the story itself! I've got a few loyal fans, and I try really hard to come up with things that I know will get them hot and bothered. Then when I hear about subsequent reactions (masturbation etc.) I'm in heaven!
