It is an interesting phenomenon, but I always get hornier when I have a cold or fever. Not sure if it is a function of lying around bored, or something else.

Edited to add- Actually, there's more to it. Sex is a decongestant because it stimulates muccous membranes, so why can't the reverse stimulation be true, too?

Depending on the type of my ill, feverish being the best.....I would tend to agree. The goose bumps from the cold night sweats, the burning sensation all over your body, the need to succumb to the wanton desires lurking in your pulse.

i hardly ever get sick...but yes...then i take care of it...then i go back to being sick, except with a headache now

I am entirely sympathetic to your plight. As you know, I recently had a house guest during which time I was very sick over an extended period. Though an excellent doctor, this person was totally unsympathetic regarding the topic of this thread. I am SOOOOOOO forwarding it right now!!!!!!!
