Not so much an attempt to make the sex better than the last but different. I don't want my readers to read the same scene twice. Even between stories.

Yeah - I can see that. I've had to totally change the tone of each of the encounters in the current story in order to even be able to get started. Goes from casual to deep to funny ... and I really don't know where it's going next for it's finale.
