Do you ever write stories geared to fetishes you don't have?

My very first story here was about knife play, even though I'm not into knives at all, since I was afraid I wouldn't be able to write a good story about sex itself. I've since confirmed that I can get positive responses from my sex scenes, but I find it fun to vary my output. Does anyone else do this?

Yes. Often.

But I still haven't managed to finish my fetish story about South Indian Women's Hairy (and Sweaty) Armpits. Apparently there is a demand for such a fetish, and a couple of Yahoo Adult Groups about it, but my attempts at a story for the Armpit lovers aren't succeeding.

Yup. When I write Straight stories.

I HATE HATE HATE HATE writing about women. Even as one, I can't identify with female characters at the best of times. And women are icky.

The only reason I wrote two of them in the first place is because a friend of mine begged me to.

Yes in my mother son stories. Although I have an incest "kink" it is for brother sister. So I tried Mother/son as a challenge and they went over pretty well.

On the flip side someone asked me about incorporating water sports into a story, and I really have no clue about it nor do I want to.

As for erotic Knife play? Very much into it. Just remember like they say in that old Milton Bradley commercial for the game Operation; "It takes a very steady hand!"

Yep, my incest stories...I have to think of them as just other people for me to able to write them.

Funny story...

Amazon Kindle rejected my latest ebook for not meeting their content guidelines. Maybe I shouldn't have called it "My Mom".

You can get it at Smashwords if you want though. :D

I have written a whole bunch of fetishes (have a 250,000-word anthology out ticking through them), but I don't practice many of them. I've tried out a few to be able to write them, but haven't picked up the fetish for personal pleasure.

For the hell of it, I wrote a mother son story, but tossed in a foot fetish(my personal fetish) just for fun. I figured it would tank, but the fucker took off and is my most voted on story to date.

If you care to read it, there is a version of it on Smashwords as well;)

Yes, most definitely.

I honestly do not want to be a vampire and run around slicing people up, lapping at their blood and pretty much causing havoc on the world. Nor do I want someone teasing me with a knife, or dressing myself up as a transgender and taking my twin's place under the table and performing oral on their significant other.

Fo' sho'. Some of my best story ideas are concerning fetishes that I don't have. I'm not sure I could write about something that completely repulsed me though.
