Evidently I suck.

I really need to start doing better or I am gonna cry.

Not really but I need to just start doing better. This is not good times.

I fucking rail on test.....it's only cheating if you get caught.

Yep, I kick ass at exams. Eidetic memory. I tend to suck when it's coursework because I'm basically a lazy bastard.

Tests are my friends, I'm with Sean, I am too lazy to do much coursework anymore.

I'm always terrible at testing. I'm very good when it comes to practice of the stuff I learn in a real world setting, but suck ass at theory.

Performing well on memory tests proves that you have a good memory. Nothing more.

You guys are soooooooo lucky. There is lots of reading and they test on the tiniest of information in the reading. *hair pull out* I do ok when the info is important but when it is over small insignificant information, I am screwed.

I actually do! Or did. It's been a long time, though. I don't know why I tested so well; I think it's just a knack for things.

I do well on tests, it's why I have all the certs, but I tend to remember the little things more than the big picture.

One of my kiddos had a true eidetic memory, could glance at a page and then recite it verbatim. A bit spooky. The doctor said that sort of memory typically went away at puberty and he was right. Poor kid had to re-learn memorization in high school.

I've got an above-average memory, so I did pretty well on tests.

I just had to do a shitload of tests. Started a new job as tech support for a major phone co. I'm averaging 95%. Means fuck all in a real world situation, I'm just fucking good at tests.

I can't do page at a glance, but I can do page at a read.

It's hard to explain, but I see a picture in my head as if I'm there.

Maybe I should have titled this, "How well do you read college level books?" Which evidently, again, I don't do well on. I am not patient when reading higher level material.

:( I need to slow the hell down when I read.

Take notes as you read. Writing stuff down makes it stick.

Awww. I never had good study skills, I just tested well. Just focus and you'll do great! Especially now, since you're truly interested in the subject matter.

I do, Sean but when they are testing me over crap questions like, what was so and so wearing when he tested his subjects...blah blah blah I'm not writing that stuff down. Sorry, I'm just bitching about getting a D. You are right, I need to take better notes if it takes me 4 hours to do the reading assignment.

I test very well even on things I don't like. It's like opening a jar, shoving some stuff inside it, and then taking off the lid a few days later and dumping it all out.

If I'm not all that interested in the material, I don't retain it.

If I like the material or it's about something I am interested in, I'll retain it for years, if not forever.

It is is a Psychology class. THe Psychology of Play, we study play.

I am good at cheating off the test, for example: if I know some correct answers-- I use that information to answer questions that I might not be sure about.

And to study I write everything down.

Nah, they're testing something different. I'm the worst person to ask, my memory is weird, I take photos.

i do great on tests. i also used to get good grades bullshitting my way through essays/book reports about shit i knew nothing about. i got a B+ for my report on great gatsby junior or senior year after reading less than half of it. i was apparently very "creative." thanks a bunch, miss ling.

My brain collects information, so I do very well on exams.
Mind you - I learned early on that reading my coursework aloud and recording it to play back later is a HUGE help!
