Leaving tomorrow morning for the first camping trip of the season! Yahoo!
Might I offer my services as tick checker, once you return? I'll be glad to look in all of the hiding places of your body. Those nasty blood sucking critters can find hidden places to set up shop

In a tent.
In a national forest fire line.
In the cold and most of the time there is a deer hanging in a tree.

Now that's not very nice! Did the deer consent to suspension bondage? It probably thought it was in for just a little sensation play and then you went and strung it up like a turkey! Blerg! is not a safe word!

We do tons of camping!!!

Government campgrounds or we pack into wilderness areas.
In a tent. (though the in-laws gave us a hand-me-down camp trailer)
Lots of hot dogs and s'mores.
We hike, fish, ride atv's and scout for hunting season.
Lots of lounge chairs and drinking, too

Love to camp.
Pop a tent in the middle of the forest and enjoy nature. The farther from civilization, the better. Can't get enough of it!

paddle up, no portage?

Nice.

I hope you were a little further above the shoreline :D

No, actually it was a drive in spot. (This part of the world is pretty darn empty).

We did set the tent up on land, yes, lol.

ETA: But we could paddle our way there, right from our front door. Kootenay Lake is 63 miles long.

LOL, missed this.

Actually, one of our crew could have used you. She went for a long hike up the mountain and came back with 5 ticks on her. Yuck, yuck, yuck!

Hm, sure there wasn't six?

Have flashlight...will search all necessary areas! I'm dependable and thorough. And if I find a tick, there's a very small fee for it's removal. :D:devil:
