I must have had 6 of their albums and tapes.I haven t migrated to cd & zip drives...I enjoyed their music ,over the past 40 yrs or so...I had this carnivale album I d guess it had limited prints made,looked for it everywhere & couldn t find it.
Maybe they need to do some cuts on current stuff for filler,from the carnivale album/tape..My Step dads ma liked it so much,I let them talk me into a trade for billy joels 52nd street tape.

This past week,I watched the Gypsy Kings in a San Diego concert from July this yr..Great Stuff.They have a new album called Flamenco out.I have their The Best of The Gypsy Kings album,& highly recommend that.1995 on the Atlantic label.

Back to Santana,I still have the abraxas album & the Greatest hits.I think their big break was Woodstock album/& concert.Maybe Santana should listen to the best of the Gypsy Kings & see if he can get some ideas off of it,to incorporate in his music...

How about that Julio Eglesias Raices album ,it made international Album of the year.The Brasil Medley was especially good,but a great album ,all the way thru.

www.narada.com has world music,& it has new flamenco as a genre there ,too.Maybe Santana could listen to some of it to see if he could incorporate some of that into his thing.

How bout the billie joels grtst hits vol 1 & 2,multi platinum...mine broke,but I still have the 52nd Street & the Stranger albums.He s puerto Rican...

If your ISP does videos,you can get music acct at www.youtube.com ,I put up a gallery in there under this same handle,most classic rock...its got a search engine bar feature to type in santana, and name of song,etc there in the header.
