Man, to hell with Napster!

This thing is wicked deadly - I'm losing whole days here.

I actually heard Audiogalaxy about it on NPR and though, "Sure, I'll give it a try".

For starters, I found songs on here that I've only ever seen on records (some of which I still own and are close to 30 years old) - I mean things like the DJs used to play in Discos (yes, before there were "clubs" there were Discos - deal with it).

I found songs from soundtracks, motown, country, alternative - hell, right now I'm listening to an Earth, Wind and Fire Mix I downloaded.

Hot damn - this is almost better than porn!

My "other" downloaded it, but I don't know how to use it, so I don't.
I use WinMX.

CNET had an article on file sharing programs like yours, BearShare, Kazaa, etc. You can remove the spyware with a free program called Ad Aware - download it from download.com.

I love some of the stuff I can find on Audiogalaxy too. Don't give up on the disco tunes! Just run a little extra check and see what, if anything, audiogalaxy is doing behind your back.

Dude man, thanks for the heads up. Not only does WinMX have even more stuff (music and movies and pics, oh my!), but Ad Aware showed me that I was living in a dream world!

WinMX can be a pain in the ass. Everything displayed isnt always available for download. But it beats garbage dumped onto your system without your knowledge

I do have a Milky Way, naturally. And I have been compared to Venus... and men have said that making love to me is 'out of this world', but for you to ask such intimate questions makes me think you've got a bee up Uranus.

I use Bearshare. Its great,has ads though,but I have found it to be the best place to find old buffy episodes to download.

I don't, and it would take me probably all day to download something like that. Not to mention, cost me a bloody fortune!

Well I have broadband now..but when I got the buffy eps,I was on a dial up and it took about 8 -14 hours to download each one. I would leave it on all night.
