Do you also write Literotica stories?

This is just something I've been thinking about. I read an old thread where someone mentioned that if you're writing a closed chyoo story, then you might as well be writing a Literotica story.
That made me think about myself and what I write, since I'm currently writing a closed story.

I personally wouldn't write a Literotica story. At least not yet. I pretty much view chyoo as easier to get into. You can start off with just one thread and then just take it from there. You don't have to finish it yet, or at all. I also like the possibilities of branching storylines, which is something I'm going to be using.

So I guess that overall, chyoo just fits my style better. I can create my story one step at a time, and I can have fun with letting it go in different directions and then link them back together when I want. I can't do that with a Literotica story. In fact I view those stories as somehow requiring more work, though that's probably not true when you look at the massive amount of threads in many chyoo stories. It's likely that I wouldn't be able to write it one thread at a time, and that I'd have to pick one "true" storyline to follow, that's making me thnik of it as more work.

So, does anyone among the chyoo writers also write Literotica stories, or do you prefer to stick with writing threads and stories at chyoo?

This is exactly how I've written most of my Literotica stories: I took threads from Chyoo stories that reached a conclusion, put them all together, and reedited them (making them first or third person -- no second person stories). I'm doing that right now with my Amelia Earhart section of The Time/Sex Machine, though not for Literotica.

Do you feel that the stories you convert work better in the Literotica format?

I think they both have good points. But for the craft of writing, I like turning Chyoo stories into traditional stories.

Sometimes Chyoo stories are just a series of strung-together sex scenes. You have to write a real story with plotline for Literotica.

Heh, I'm not sure how much I'd enjoy creating a lot of story and plot. I try to put a bit into my chyoo story, but it's no where near what I've seen others do. I'm not writing with some goal in mind, as my story isn't supposed to have an ending. And the bits of story and plot that I put into the threads is really just to move the story from scene to scene, although I do have some things in mind for later in the story when creating a thread.

most of my stuff started a regular stories

but thier were some that spawn stores on other sites

GORDOR- had some stories with Alisha and crew

CHYOO is much easier than Literotica when you're an occasional writer like me. I've half-developed a few stories for Literotica, and written chapters for a couple, but nothing near publication-ready. Most of my ideas started out as CHYOO stories, which have given me the opportunity to try a few things and see where I'd like a story to develop.

There's also the fact that if your just adding a thread, you're going to be building on other authors ideas, which sorta gives you a starting point. With Lit, you have to come up with your own beginning, middle and end.

Yes. I personally started out with simply adding to my favorite stories, and I think that's a good idea for anyone who wants to get started. In that way, chyoo is pretty easy to get begin with.

I have since moved on to creating my own story because I wanted to be in control of the story and the characters, but I'm still not interested in creating a Literotica story. I like the chyoo way of creating branching storylines and not having to come up with an ending and such.
