Thanks to the sex harassment laws, most heterosexuals have been conditioned to act asexual at work. Many don't even let themselves think adult thoughts about co-workers of the opposite sex anymore so they don't say something accidently that could get them fired or sued. Workplace dating and relationships are almost non-existent anymore among heterosexuals while they used to be almost ubiquitous in past eras.

The argument is that is to protect women from "unwanted advances" in the workplace. Yet, no study has actually confirmed that women don't want any workplace romance or want all advances banned by the government. On the other hand, we see mega million dollar lawsuits when it does happen.

Has anyone ever confirmed that most women prefer asexual workplaces?

How else will we fuck our way up the ladder? :)

Less workplace dating and fucking, more discreet affairs, but there is still some there.

Yeah. I think the premise is flawed.

Pretty much.

I've worked in places with very attractive half-naked people who often ended up in relationships and flings with each other (that may or may not have been fueled by alcohol). I've also worked more traditional jobs.
From my experience and observation, a sexual work environment led to stupid petty cliques that felt like high school, as well as making more reserved coworkers really uncomfortable. Breakups were messy, as in people taking sides, and drama for weeks. Most coworkers who hooked up while drunk avoided each other for the whole rest of the year. The group of young men who did the most hooking up and made the most sexual comments/jokes were also the most easily embarrassed by actual honest conversations about sexuality.
Having a "no crushes on co-workers" rule for myself since then has really helped me focus at work.

Treating everyone as a member of your family, a close friend or a member of your church is not being asexual. It's not being a predator.

I influenced my grandson to get an engineer diploma then become a Special Ops officer in the army, to steer clear of females in the work place. Jobs are game rooms for gals. Gals gotta have the drama and bull shit. Fools rush in where wise men fear to go.

There's this old saying, "never get your honey where you get your money." Personal relationships can be very destructive in the workplace.

Fucking on the boardroom table isn't without risk.

That's why normal people do those sorts of things, you see, Rightwrong.
