Do we really need pre-moistened wipes?

I think I need to test them.... how about I test them on you sweet Mistress of the Bee's.....

honestly? Premoitened? Well, handy if you are somewhere there isn't a sink, or baby wipes.

Being one that has bought these...

They really do work and are flushable. Oh and they are smaller than baby wipes.

I don't even travel without them.

They're flushable, whereas baby wipes are not, and once you get used to that really clean feeling, toilet paper alone will never do.

If you make it, they will buy it...sometimes the silliest things become big hits. Who knew those little yellow stickies would dominate the world? You COULD just use tape and paper just like you COULD take the time to wet some TP, but most Americans are looking for anything that saves us time and effort.

I love them... I'm not a mum nor a nanny but I travel a lot and especially when I'm backpacking I never leave the "civilised" world without them. You have no idea how happy such a pack of wipes can make you when you are stuck in the middle of nowhere where there is no running water and you havent been able to shower since 4 days.... trust me: the world needs them :D

NO

People do not need premoistened disposable wipes. Nor are they as wonderful and innovative as marketers and consumers make them to be.

Try to consider the huge amount of natural resources that go into products for wiping your ass. Then add the packaging and chemicals that go into producing a convenient product. Now find a way to avoid the expense and consumption involved.

The next time you go camping, take a small linen rag with you. It can be used over and over again, moistened or not.
