I think that is quite true. I used nto be interested in them at one time but found that once I had picked something out I would just try to apply it right away.New years resolutions are for people who don't realise they can change their lives any day they choose.

It might be that depending on a "magic day" makes changes less likely to happen.

A good way of looking at it I suppose. I really don't mind the New Years resolution thing as it can be interesting and at least shows people have some ambition about themselves.I agree. I wasn't always able to carry through my resolutions, but it's always nice to get them all in the open. Someone or something in the universe almost always conspires to remind me of what I need to accomplish.
