I would say an inversely correlated relationship.

Lit is an outlet for people who might feel confined by their physical relationship, or lack thereof. With Lit, their mind may go to places their bodies are not allowed. On the opposite hand, one with the same sex drive, desires, fetishes, etc. might be more prone to go astray physically since they have no outlet for those feelings.
