I've never much cared for the Blurt threads.

I find them Playgroundy and generally lacking in substance.

Be that as it may, i would like to know how you feel about them ... And discuss whether they help or hurt the GB.

I like some aspects of the blurt, but I do think that it drives down the number of threads being made and since it's not meant to carry full on conversations, plus being quick moving, a lot of interesting stuff is missed.

Never ending helped the GB , I think making them limited hurt the GB.

I regret not having been a strong user/supporter of blurty.com

I think it could have been good for lit longtimers and a commercial success too.

They hurt the overall discussion.

Without blurts, there would likely be a half dozen more interesting threads each day.

They're pretty much garbage.

Get rid of them, I say.

We need more threads with original context. While you're kind of a douche, Lance, at least you're an original douche.

It's judgment day, sinners! Come out, come out wherever you are!

Forgive me yossi, for I have sinned. It has been 26,846,523,621,542,362.2 days since my last confession.

Sit the fuck down. This may take awhile.

We know. You say I do and the next year she takes half of your money.

Why can't you just rent hookers like the rest of us?

I was actually reading an economics research article on that very topic just the other day.

The conclusion was that unless you plan on procreation, hookers are a better economic value.
