Do I look fat?

What?

When would you "like" the fat? Can you cite an example?

Send me a pic... I'll let you know... *grin*

*blush*

There are enough pics of me floating around on this board already that I wouldn't care to contribute to the chaos it already created in the past... for better or worse.

However, should I ever decide to change my mind on that particular matter... you shall be amongst my first selections alright?

it depends

wether they want me to answer honestly.. or just want to get some encouragement..
but i think... i'll answer it honestly..

I will be anxiously checking my email on a daily basis in the hopes that you change your mind. *smile*

One of those questions that, if asked by a woman, has no safe or acceptable response.

hehe

I'm not called the bitch of the Web Sites for no reason hehe
I am way to blunt it would go something like this:

Person says,"Do I look fat?"

arches a eyebrow looks the person over and then nods.

Yep, any other questions?

Not nec. sure if blunt and bitch are the same thing actually...

WOW!!

Thanks for responding.

And Expertise... don't give in to that way of thinking... it is not ALWAYS true... just mostly... hehe

I NEVER tell anyone they are fat. I change the subject. I tell them that their clothes/smile/make up looks great...whatever is true. I have seen too many anorexic teens and adults to psychologically put someone on that road. The person asking the question knows the answer anyway.

Now - if they ask, "Does this dress make me LOOK fat?" - that's a whole different matter. Can't have people walking around looking like sartorial versions of an earthquake. LOL.

ROFL about the Earthquake crack

And yeah eating disorders arent a minor matter...considering I too suffered from one when I was 14-16
I brought myself out of it, but there are still things I cant eat, and it takes a long time to get everything back on track after that.

WHich raises a question that has always bothered me.

Why do women in country bars insist on wearing mid riff bearing shirts/tops when they are in excess of 250lbs.

It completely baffles me.

Baffles me too. I spend my life buying clothes that cover every single imperfection - I wear hooded, long-sleeved caftans - LOL. Panadolboy however, works in a "hippie" type town where all the females wear short shorts and boob tubes whether they are nine or ninety, size 6 or size 36, eight months pregnant....whatever. He LOVES it. So, I guess the answer is - some men like to see as much flesh as possible, even if for some of us there is wayyyyyyy to much to be seen. LOL.

When it's in the right places. I talked to a girl this evening who was certainly 15-20 pounds overweight. But goddamn... A picnic blanket on a bed of grass with those extra pounds would elicit no complaint from me.

Her breast were nice, but not excessively large. She seemed to have some flab on her arms. Her tummy had a fecund roundness, and she had an ass that reminded me of an 18 ounce sirloin steak. All of this on a 5' 9" or so frame.

If she asked me, do I look fat, I would say: no, baby, you look just fine... just fine, I like you just the way you are.

I suppose if I answer....

"No, but please dont wear anything with stripes", I'll get my butt kicked??? :p

Or

"No you dont, and that striped dress really make you stand out......."

On second thought I think I'll just run out of here, like a bat out of hell :p

I'm not always one to spare feelings when it comes to the "how do I look" concept. I'm not an excercise guru, but if you look like you need some toning, I'm going to tell you! If you really think that you might be overweight, I'd suggest a dietician, or nutritionalist and plan an exercise regimen at your local YMCA, it's cheap, and it's not like you're really out of place because there's always people there who ineveitably look worse than you. Ah! Jeez... gotta control that wicked tongue of mine. I'm not going to lie to anyone and say "no, you look fine" when it's obvious that they need to tone up or drop a few pounds. But I can be a real bitch when you catch me at the wrong time.
This goes hand in hand with the "real age" thread... check it out if you haven't already and you'll see what I mean. IF it makes anyone feel better, I'm trying to lose 15 pounds...

UM... WTF?!!!

I have seen your pic?!! You are skinny... WHY do you want to lose weight? Are you trying to get hospitalized or something??

*confused expression*

Maybe she has a pet she is trying to get rid of? Couldn't be on her.

When someone ask that question I run the other way ......That is just one of those things you just can't win no matter how or what you tell them...............

It continues to amaze me

how these questions are NEVER asked by men. C'mon, the percentage of men in the US who are overweight has to be close to the percentage of women, yet do they obsess? Do they worry about those extra 10-20 lbs.?

No.. and y'know why? Because women see beyond the physical.. alright. ok, most women see beyond the physical to the person and don't obssess about a man's physical fitness.

And, all of it ultimately has to do with attitude and how you feel about yourself, carry yourself and present yourself. Fuck all the rest. ;-)

Us men have that gift too Vixen - why do you think we always reply to this question like this -

"Oh no honey, you look just like you did the day we met."

And if I am one of all the rest, yes, yes, fuck me too.
