Do Guys Still Whistle?

one thing I have noticed...I never used to see this from women towards men, only the other way around. But I see it a little bit now. and I think that it is more than fair that the tables are now open to be turned both ways.

Dude, you have no idea the things women talk about when they think they're alone.

I've been doing cabling and computer work in office environments for the apst 8 or so years and working in offices for 12 years before that I have heard things that were far beyond what any man would say.

Trust me. Women are worse than men. And it's not just a recent thing.

oh no, very aware of that. what I meant is that the more public expression of that is a little more gender equal than it once was...I get the occassional comment from the cashiers at the grocery store on my lunch hour* that is directed in the manner we are talking about from construction workers. Maybe not quite as classic "wolf whistle" but definitely suggestive.

* why spend six bucks at MickeyD's when I can spend two at the grocery store and eat better as well?

I've received whistles and cat calls. NEVER in Sweden though. That could be because a) Swedish men are worried the girl will find them sexist bastards & kick their asses b) Swedish men are better behaved c) Swedish men just aren't attracted to me. I always used to think the latter when I grew up...

In London I've received anything from whistles, cat calls, groaping and indecent proposals. When I hear whistles or cat calls I usually blush. I once had a 70+ old woman slapping my ass after asking me the way to the grocery store... :p (That was in Sweden when I was 16 btw).

Or make those kissy sounds when a girl walks by? Do they honk? Do they "Oh Baby!" &/or crotchgrab?

When's the last time you were ogled like that?
I'm still waiting for the first time.

I dress fairly conservatively away from work, so I always used to believe the wolves somehow recognized me from there.

Now that I am a Hostess in a snooty restaurant and I’m still getting whistles and comments (mostly comments) I suppose I shall have to change my opinion.

For any of the wolves out there: I’m not sure what the comment denotes, but passing one of those Everything Stores that always has a group of guys lurking around outside, one guy made a comment about Sugar Tits. Perhaps he says that to all the women passing by, but considering my insecurity over the size of my breasts, it gave me quite a boost. :D

He wasn’t that bad looking. If he had made a point of clarifying what he meant by his comment — who knows— he might possibly have got lucky.

Maybe not. The reaction WAS fleeting.

I don't whistle, grope myself or make lewd comments.

However, I do walk into telephone posts.

Now THAT type of reaction is probably the most flattering.

I still get it from time to time as well. The last time was probably at the end of last summer. It's hard to catcall someone in a parka. Hopefully as the weather warms, it'll happen again...
No, the last time was some guys in Windsor.

It does still happen on construction sites, but not as often or as overtly as it used to. My boys still stop and stare when a beautiful woman walks but, but the comments and looks are kept to a minimum and are generally kept quiet enough not to be overheard by the lookee. All of the workers on my site are union construction workers, and although some are not the brightest men in the world, they all know that certain things just aren't tolerated any more. The company has a zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment and it has been enforced before. If there is a complaint, it is invstigated, and if it is true, the employee if gone. Sexual Harassment lawsuits are far to common and far to expensive nowdays to fool around.

As far as just looking, believe it or not, many states now have set time limits on how long you can look at a woman. In this area, anything over 7 seconds is no longer looking, it's oogling, now it's harassment. Exactley who's doing the timing is a little more fuzzy.

Hi I'm new here, but I'd like to say that I haven't heard cat calls in years. Most guys will stare then look quickly away. Others will smile, and very few will be bold enough to start a conversation. I liked it when guys were not afraid to look and express their appreciation....tehee
