Do any of your stories arise from masturbatory fantasies?

If any of your stories arise from masturbatory fantasies...

What percentage of your output arises this way?

Do character and plot accompany the fantasy from the get-go?

If the fantasy only has enough plot to account for the setting, do you add plot later, for the sake of publishing? Sometimes? All the time?

I ONLY write about masturbatory fantasies. I want to enjoy writing them as much as someone might enjoy reading them. Pretty much all my character development and plot is already completely fleshed out, so to speak, before I ever start dictating it to publish.

Most stories come from a scene I imagine would be hot. Not specifically a masturbatory fantasy, but something that gets me thinking, "Yes, yes, this could work..."

Then I add as much setup and/or character as needed to make the scene come to life.

Quite a few of mine have come from fantasies. The masturbation would be optional as they are usual twilight fantasies that run through my mind as I drift off to sleep..

Yes.
All of it.
Yes. Context, character, and plot are central to my fantasies. I must understand why people are doing what they are doing.

Looking over all my writings, many do. Or rather did, as I'm not allowed to masturbate any more without explicit permission from my owner. If course, the flesh is weak, so sometimes I get naughty anyway. ;)😇☹️:) But, that aspect aside, nowadays it's often the inverse: the idea for a story comes first, and the filthy wet consequences may come later.

Mine mostly become a masturbatory fantasy after I’ve written (at least some of) it.

I mean, I guess it depends what you mean. I’ve never written a story which didn’t contain sex I’ve never fantasized about before, so, trivially, all of them were sex fantasies first. And the frame story around the sex isn’t what I’d call the masturbatory fantasy anyway, so, trivially, none of the stories are masturbatory fantasies, only the sex parts are.

I’ve never been masturbating and thought “oh, that’s such a novel idea that I have to write a story about it.” It’s more like I get ideas for scenarios which I think could lead to fun sex scenes.

Right, but, did they begin as fantasies before you wrote about them or did the story develop the fantasy before you masturbated with it?
They're always fantasies that I had written for myself in spiral-bound notebooks over the years. Mostly to explore unusual scenarios in my mind, but also just to keep my handwriting from getting too rusty. Never intended for anyone else to read or certainly public consumption. When I joined Lit, I eventually decided to start transcribing some of them and posting them on here, just in case someone else would get off for them, too.

^^^ Exactly.

Yes. Many of my stories have their origins from fantasies I had as a younger man. Women I knew from jobs or the neighborhood, friends of the family. Etc. I haven't thought of them in many years being married with a healthy sex life for so long. But now they have new life in my stories.

Not fantasy, from many happy, and a few unhappy, memories. Nostalgia I suppose. If someone wrote a fantasy which triggered my memory, I would find that arousing.

My inspiration is a big old mix of heavily embellished experiences, personal and other peoples, wish fulfilment (a LOT of wish fulfilment) imagination, real life, suggestions, and subliminal influences I only recognise when I read them back.
I would hope readers find all my postings arousing, but I also hope they consider the non sex parts entertaining as well.

"Embellished experiences" - that's the perfect way to describe most of my stories as well. They start with some mostly-real experience, mix in a few drinks, add some vivid imagination...

I only have one I'd say is based on a masturbatory fantasy. It's based on one of the few true stories I submitted and how one small part of that true story became a very fun fantasy.

Had to add quite a bit of plot to make the fantasy a story. My fantasies are very specific to 1 image so not long enough for a story

Check out my post re Simple Erotica. If you can stretch your image to 751 words (750?) I'd love to read it.

Some of my work is also highly embellished personal or other people's real-life experiences. One is a combination of one of the cases in which I worked as a PI and one in which my father worked. Both were missing person cases and involved some amount of personal risk to me, in my case, and my father in his. Mine was a missing teen (which had a very tragic outcome) and a missing wife on Pops. The tragic ending on his was less morose and more just, "I've had enough of him and won't go back," on Dad's. However, he did get conked on the head in his. That story was The Case of the Rich Man's Wife, in case anyone hadn't read it. If you had, you would have guessed it right off.

I generally think of an idea when fantasising/masturbating, write it down (afterwards), then eventually flesh it out into an actual story instead of just an idea.

My Hinn series came to me (pun unavoidable) after enjoying reading Joe Brolly's Genie Tales, and the niggling thought, "Hey, what if..."

It's the one example of what you're talking about which I've published here.

The plot (which is <50% published) had its highpoints lined up almost immediately when I started worldbuilding, but details kept creeping in and expanding the tale as I wrote.

The two protags were evident to me from the first, and there's more there plotted-but-unwritten details about both to release. Other characters were added organically with a few minor exceptions. Baba Yaga was an immediate grab, and there'll be more of her later if I can get back into writing, as well as a couple other currently-minor-seeming characters.

I'm not familiar with all the stats in Literotica, but if I'm reading one correctly the full story (with all embellishments) ended up being over 9300 words
