I certainly don't. I wish Ally McBeal and the trend she began would go away. I'm tired of girls that like heroine addicts or refugees. Seems like whereever you turn, the girls look like that. It's sad. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Anniston used to look really good, and were rather thin to begin with, but they both looked like they lost about ten or fifteen pounds. (some) women need to stop jumping on board every stupid beauty trend that comes along. They are doing this to make themselves more attractive, but its having the opposite effect. If you ask me.

thanx for the input... and with the recent anorexic trend... i know a few people that have been getting extremely self-conscious about themselves, and have even started to not like their appearance that much because of this.. i feel bad knowing how they're feeling and knowing there isnt anything i can do to change the way they're feeling... and to know that their weight and how they look is not really something they can control like they can a handful of pennies

I hate overly thin women...I dont like women who have the bodies of 13 year old boys. I like breasts, I like an ass. I like a woman 5' 9 to 6' who weighs between 135-145. i have heard of some models near six feet weighing under 120

They hurt themselves by putting themselves at risk for so many problems

They hurt other women by portraying a foolish and impossible image


I have heard that men are increasingly obsessing about weight and being thin and having hard abs and such.

America needs to get over it. Most of us came from good, sturdy, peasant stock originally, meaning we have genes for strong, sturdy bodies. We need to realize that there are so many kinds of beauty....but too slender is not one of them

used to be that liking this sort of woman was a fetish...small breasted women...

have never met a man who likes women who look like that, or a woman for that matter

but a 14 yr old girl growing to her natural proportions doesn't understand it, she thinks all women should stay with the 12 yr old body....she doesnt know that it is just a small and very visible clique that is perpetuating it and that most people think more of the Sally Strothers telethons than sex when they see them

I'm not a man, but I just have to throw in my two cents -- LOL!
At the cinema last week there was an absolutely gorgeous girl. She had the prettiest face you ever saw. But her body -- the thing was nothing but skin and bones! It evoked such a sense a pity, I just wanted to grab her and take her home and make her eat something.

It's true that overly thin women are unattractive, but that's not to say that slender is bad. Breasts are good

Does anyone know of Katherine Heigl from Roswell? From this pic, does she look too thin? She strikes me as just right. I'd like some comments on this.

I don't like EXTREMES on either end of that spectrum myself, but as long as I am neither wounded by protruding bones from an overly thin woman, or squashed flatter than a bug by an overly obese woman; I have learned to appreciate all types.

Just my 2-cents worth......

Oh, as far as Preggies, Ponies, and Scat goes.....you can keep them!!! (The further away from me, the better)

I have found that the fashion industry wants the 6 foot 120 pound models to drape their rags on.
When they want to show their line of swimwear they want curves and you don't get curves with bone structure.
I am 6' 2'' and 137 and have been turned down for high fashion shoots because I'm to heavy, but when the same people want to parade their swim suits, I get calls. I guess a bikini on a bag of bones with the butt of a 9 year old boy is not desireable to men, but put a long dress on it and it's OK.
BTW, a breast should be more then a nipple on a rib.

When I first met my wife, she was so thin that the first time we were together, I was afraid to really get physical, for fear I would break something. I'm not making this up!!!!

The only part of her body that had any meat on it was her ass (bet you would never have guessed that). Now, 6 years later, the swing has gone the other way. She's packing a few more pounds than she should, according to her doctor.

But given the two choices, give me the extra weight any day.

Yeah, I prefer a lady with some meat on her. Especially on those long winter nights. I don't have anything against skinny gals, it's just that I like to wreslte. That could lead to an erotic adventure. With a skinny gal, I'm afraid that I might hurt her...and that wouldn't be fun. Beauty is only skin deep. Looks will eventually fade. So it IS what's on the inside that counts. Let's be honest though, isn't it the Physical part that we see first? So, only the wise dig deeper than the Physical. Besides, hardly any of us stay at the same size. Love yourself no matter what your size.

Exactly. Anorexia as a disease sucks. But some women are just thin. Not everyone is born with DD chest & a big bouncy womanly ass. Skinny women can be just as passionate and loving and sexy as our bigger counterparts. It's not cool to call bigger women names, and it ain't cool to slag thin girls either. Sexy isn't a dress size - it's an attitude.

Yea, I though the dimensions quoted were kind of on the thin side also... just an opinion...and I think people of both sexes look better when they're fit (disregarding weight)
