I think in 2-4 more election cycles the GOP in Washington DC and in most state capitals will be overwhelmingly MAGA.

Yeah, MAGA has become the proverbial turd in the punchbowl, including the few MAGAts left in the Lit punchbowl. They make a big stink, but nobody with a sense of integrity is drinking their punch anymore.

Sure, there are a lot of people in the USA who base their lives on hate and grievance, but most people would rather focus on something more positive. The more positive approach will prevail, even if by a slim margin. And that's why the right wing wants so desperately to disenfranchise just enough targeted voters to impose their hateful will on others.

Voting rights is the most important issue facing the nation at this time.
