So, I've had a recent interest in cock rings, but I have no way of discreetly getting one, nor am I sure I want to buy one to begin with.

Does anyone know a good way to home make one?

Buy one!

Go to a adult sex shop and buy one there cheap at most $10 for a single metal ring less for the rubber ones but they break down over time with the lube and play. Mite even be cheap then spending the time and money to make one. Have to make sure the ring can go on and off easy, remember your restricting the flow of blood slightly to a very important part.

I can think of many ways, but safety is #1. do what christian1971 said.

Actually, Amazon also sells those. So, it'll arrive at your house in a nice innocuous amazon box for a pretty nice price -

Yeah, but watch out

The next time you open Amazon (in the office or elsewhere), your "last viewed" list will displayed.

I actually found vibrating cock rings at the drug store by the condoms. Seems each brand has one now.

Hit the hardware store for cotton rope and quick super glue. Get hard ( not in the hardware store!) and wrap one loop around your penis. Cut the rope just a bit smaller, glue ends together. You will have to hold it into position. Dont do it on your penis either the superglue will bond skin instantly and the ER folks will have a hey day! Once dry you can sand any hard edges of the glue smooth. You may have to experiment with sizes till you have one that is perfect. They hold up for quite a while even with lube or oils.

yup, durex makes them too.
Ya, got theirs because it was on sale, lol. Also saw one from Trojan and Lifestyles (the brand I like). Haven't had a chance to use it yet, well not for long anyway, she said it felt weird and had me take it off.

I'm just thinking here... glue and skin...
If you have too do it over condom- to shield skin, or it might get nasty lol

As for velcro- I'm not sure how will it feel during performance, vercro I know has sharp edges and might cut or hurt- you or your partner...

I don't really know how it would feel, only seen them on display ;)

well I'm hoping it'll be fun. I was gona try it with a friend, but she got sick:(

It's actually fuzzy on the inside...

Just thinking about rope and superglue and my cock at the same time makes me cringe . . .

I tried using one of those velcro cable-ties (http://www.tecratools.com/media/productImages/46125.gif). Worked pretty well, but I'm not sure I like it.

That's not a bad idea. Don't use a regular one way cable tie though . . .

It made me cringe and I do not own a cock!!!

and  at regular cable ties ... but then I'm pretty sure someone must have done that

I've used rope but tied with a knot (seriously, fuck glue, no way that's going anywhere near my weiner! :), however, I prefer the metal rings. I've used the silicone ones and they rarely last a full session, they break way too easy on me.

What I really wish I could find though is a steel cock ring with a "channel" on one side that could be positioned over the urethra so that part doesn't get constricted.

Go to the hardware store, and get a few black rubber o-rings in various sizes...

Rings !

I have a aluminum ring that was originaly a spacer off a shaft (no not a penal shaft  ) lol ) like would be between two cogs or a bearing and pulley, I was lucky as I work in the automotive trade and a few bits n pieces laying round, was looking for a large thick washer one day and found this spacer putting it aside thinking must try that latter on my ....
it measures 25mm ID
35mm OD approx
6mm depth approx
this particular aluminum spacer is annodised
(luckily for my .... otherwise there would be a black ring round it  )
you don't have to go for aluminum, you could try steel or plastic
If you know the size you want (use the velcro cable tie for sizing) try an engineering supply shop.

Lowes hardware carries welded steel rings in there hardware section. Get several sizes -- don't try them on for size in the store. You might find the right size... but you might not.

Getting them on line, through the mail a a very good way... plain brown wrapper even noisy neighbors won't know what's inside.

Go to a hardware store. Most of them carry chrome plated rings for around $1.00 or so, in a variety of sizes. Then get some olive oil for lubrication. They work great!!

Woah woah woah woah!!!! I come in for a little trolling and not planning to bother anyone, but I gotta chine in here when you all start tryign to convince a guy to use chrome rings and olive oil!!!

First off, start here: http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=97465.

Second, avoid ANYTHING made of metal. No bullshit here, these can and do get stuck. I got a call from a friend a while back, he knew I did jewelry work and wanted to know if I had a ring cutter. I said sure, come on over, not knowing what I was in for. Let me tell ya...you find out who your friends are when you need to get a metal ring cut off your cock.

Seriously though, adult stores or online places sell one that is just a loop of surgical tubing and a bead that adjusts the tension. They work GREAT! I was really surprised the first time I used one how well it stayed tight, even though it was easy to release. It's effective and very safe, and I think I paid 4 bucks for the one I bought.

Now yes, I'm picking on the poster above, and I'm sorry if I hurt any feelings. Aluminum rings are bad enough, but seriously avoid those chrome plated things. They are hardened steel and you aren't going to get it off with a ring cutter should something go wrong. The only option at that point is get your cock drained with a needle. I just can't imagine that would be much fun.

I was thinking the same about metal being a bad idea. Wouldn't want anything I couldn't break by pulling hard enough. It also reminds me something I heard from a friend regarding titanium wedding rings, she worked at a hospital and they had no tools that could cut through the things.

To A_kefka and TBKahuna123

I owe you two and of coarse other readers of this thread a large apology  ,
I need to elaborate on my post Re aluminum (metal) rings, I don't wear mine during sex, I wear it for decorative purposes mainly (sits nicely just behind the Corona ;) )( and is easily removed) , I have to admit to wearing it occasionally during the day - a unusual feeling as you move around doing things like climbing a ladder or driving over rough ground in a tractor :) :)
