Divide by Zero

I’ll start this page off with a picture.

Less words.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Math

I’ve thought about this some more.

I think this is a better way of explaining what I’m trying to say. Although I’m not going to say I’ve put enough thought into it to argue with anybody.

Let’s take some set X from n to years lived. X being the physical perception.

Let’s take some set Z from n to years lived. Z being our mental perception.

Our mental perception is generally higher when we are younger. Going through our teen years and early 20’s. We hit a point where our mental perception will match our physical perception. And then it all goes a different direction, because we keep our mental ability far longer.

So we determine the delta between the two sets at some point (n) over time.

Of course, we graph it. Because that’s what we do like USA Today.

Unless we have trauma. Tragedy. Abuse. We all have our own story. We all have our own graph.

Maybe your delta is different?

Maybe this doesn’t make as much sense to you as it does to me.

I like your graph idea, but yes, my graph would be very different. Maybe will draw it a bit later. For one thing, for many (most?) women there will be a local max sometime soon after the childbirth.

So, the graph. Did you mean to switch X and Z? Usually thinking people are much happier with their brains than with their bodies, which means that for the most of our lives X - Z will be a negative number. As we age and the physical perception goes down, the way you defined it, delta should decrease, not increase. It's absolute value will increase, but not the delta itself.

The dashed line on my graph is a projection, I am not there yet.

On my opinion, our brain tries to tell us we are older than the world sees us when we are teens.

As we hit middle age and beyond, our mind thinks we can still do the things we once did and our bodies struggle to keep up.

Oh, you measure perception in years!
I was thinking about something else: at each age what do we perceive to be more attractive to others, out mental abilities or our physical body? Ideally that would be 50/50 and that is where delta is zero.

A little music to represent 2020.

Endsmouth

It's only the end of the world again
Down by the ocean
The frogmen are surfacing but,
The beast beneath the skin has been
Whispering, wondering
Wondering, whispering
It's only the end of the world again
It's only the end of the world again
It's only the end
Raise and sing
Shedding his ocean skin
Moon green awakening and
Somethin like a woman
Screams, screams
To me screaming
It's only the end of the world again
It's only the end of the world again
It's only the end

Just wanted to say that I am reading. Not commenting because I don't have much to say, but that feeling "can I skip all the small talk, pack my bag and already go home?" is very familiar.

And after all my whining, I missed my flight.

One day off this week. Strange days.

Wanted to get this dog out for a walk. Saw the break in the clouds.

About a mile away we were met with rain.

Then hail.

Soaked, we headed home.

Toweled him off.

I stripped down.

I stare out the window at the sun breaks.

Thank you.

You’re recommending more audio?

Oh, I would DEFINITELY recommend more audio. I really do love your voice. The smooth depth kinda gets me.

Love the car photo. Even though you are the focus I love the reflection amidst the droplets on the hood. It's the thing that first caught my attention when I opened the link.

If I’m being honest, the reflection is the only reason I posted that picture.

If I had set up the dslr, the image focus would have shifted.

But you got an iPhone picture.

Thank you for the comments.

I thought about writing something.

Went a different Avenue.

You get this.

Sorry.
