Informal poll.

Here’s my question for the... one, two three of you.

I’ve applied for a promotion. Not sure if I’ll even get a call.

I didn’t think I’d care for my hair long after I let it go gray, but it’s okay.

So do I cut my hair to help my impression I’ll make in case I get an interview? Or do I roll with it looking all Saint of Killers?

Question goes for the beard as well.

You know how I feel about the hair and the beard. How conservative is the hiring bunch? Do they know you personally or on paper? How would they feel if you said you had to keep it to keep the lit squad happy ? <--- kidding

In all honesty, it would grow back if you feel they'll be weird about it.

Go MG! George Clooney? Super hawt with beard look

Or black shirt? Black suit? Open collar? Channel Ryan Reynolds

It’s not about conservative. It’s about first impressions.

I’m sure I could remember how to tie one.

I'd say clean up the beard and comb the hair. If they want a neater image most places will say so.

You want me to make a YouTube video on how to tie a tie? I could do it.

My presence is always on display. Just doesn’t always make people comfortable.
