Distractions, Distractions

So I'm working on the latest chapter of Slaveworld Abductions, trying to maintain a momentum started with two successful postings. Things are going too slow, and then while I'm browsing Deviant Art I come across someone, whose interests intersect with mine, and has an interesting character so, with his permission, I write what I think is going to be a couple of chapters, both posted to great success. Instead now I'm working on a third, and there will probably be a total of four in all, and the momentum seems pretty good, and now there's a third guy, with three pics on Hentai Foundry I want to story, 'cause I have ideas there too, and it looks like some good momentum in those cases as well. Sigh! Rant's over, had to let it out

Oh that's fun! I follow a bunch of artists on Deviant Art, and Twitter, etc..., and I often find myself imagining stories for the artists' OCs, but never thought of actually asking to write one! That's very nice, I'm sure they appreciate it!

Deviant Art has some very talented artists. They will sometimes tell a story visually by having a series of linked illustrations. By the way, your avatar looks like Linc from Mod Squad. Was that the inspiration?

No, I was looking for a proper avatar (everybody had one and I wanted one too), and this is what I found. Some website years ago. Can't remember what it was, don't know if it's still there. I'd like something cooler or more noticeable but I don't know where to find any (and the good ones, wherever they are, are probably all taken).

It's pretty good actually. Strictly speaking, you are supposed to use your own photograph or illustration (or get permission), but I suspect that many of them here are lifted from some other source.

It was a website, I believe, that offered avatars for free.
