I hope that everyone has a great day today!

I think the word grind says it all.

I'm not sure how you and minx went from relationships to vegetables...although in Shanky's thread that would be totally kosher. ;)

I went crazy at the farmer's market this weekend, so I have a ton of produce that I have to do something with or it will go bad...

Garlic chives...any ideas? There's always epicurious.com, but I'm feeling lazy.

What else? Spinach...I might do a salad. I bought some chevre and I have pine nuts...

Oh, I have strawberries, rasberries and wild blueberries. I think I should make some sort of crisp.

I have mint, and I think I'm going to make vodka mint lemonade drinks for some friends this week. :D

relationships to veggies....an easy transition to make imo ;)
garlic chives....just seen a recipe with monkfish (yummy)...any good?

ooh I love spinach either just on its own or in something like a lasagne or sag paneer or a soup.

The mint vodka lemonade sounds good and as for basil...love a plain tomato and basil salad. mmmm

I know, lol - I have TONS of basil though. I think I'll make pesto and freeze it...AGAIN. Lol.

Spinach lasagne! There's an idea. Thanks, minx!

Monkfish - it's been a while since I've made anything with that, but it does sound good. It's a mild fish, right? So the chives would come through nicely.

Well, I'm all set then! Although I have to go back to the store for the lasagne stuff...Oooh, I could use the tomatoes for a sauce - fresh spinach, fresh sauce, will be so nice! Thanks, minx!

Not sure why but I'm thinking homemade pizza. Have you ever made it with pesto instead of sauce?

I wish I could stay and talk food but I have to go back to work..just on my lunch break right now...

I think the crisp she is talking about is you mix flour, and oats and sugar together and put it on top of the fruit and bake it..

I will see you in a few hours..Time for me to head back..

lol Pizza express, a restaurant chain here does a pizza covered in rocket leaves....that with their salad dressing poured over, makes no sense whatsoever, but is divine. I don't even like rocket normally.
