Well i think this is an interesting subject, and whether my opinon sways for or against this particular issue depends upon a number of inherent factors. Both long term and short term effects need to be taken into consideration, but at this time i can categorically state that my feelings on this matter, as it stands, presented before me in this particular set of terms, are quite simple.

I'm fucked if I know...

But I don't want to. So what are you going to do about it, Todd?

You don't scare me. :p

Remember when you got that thing?

Outta that place right by the spot with the stuff?

God damn, that was some funny shit!

your always sitting on the fence on these matters aren't you

Thanks for bringing it to my notice, I wasn't aware of it but now I know about it I am very, very angry. I am furious with them for it in the first place and with you for telling me. I blame my wife too, and the fucking education system for turning out so many thick people, especially plumbers.
I hate lawyers too: they get paid for causing delays. I just get fined - especially that time I drove blocking two lanes at 5mph in support of Quebec Libre. The Singapore police new shit all about French Canadians - ignorant bastards.

So, Todd, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Oh yes, i believe recall that particular incident at some point in the past in my life. That place, yes, i remember, a nice part of the world, such a lovely country. With the doodahs on the side and everything. Aaah, that stuff in the spot opposite.

Remeber who I got it off... whatshisname....he used to be involved with them doohickey things. Think I met him through whosherface, she had that habit, kept on doing that thing, remember?

that thing above with the quote from that guy with the stuff in his Av was me... got disconnected 1/2 way through

Well, Todd, I find that when one expresses a certain point of view, in this case the opinion i have previously stated in a piece of writing i submitted merely minutes ago. One receives a reaction from that said statement. I'm sure you are already aware that outlining such statements in a visible or audible form, whether implicit or implied can have detremental, or in some cases complimentary consequences.

The term you have quoted and applied in a direct rhetort to myself; the author of previous comments already outlined in this statement, 'sitting on the fence', which many find quite cliched in today's modern world, though some still apply with alarming but satisfying regularity, would seem to be:

abso-fucking-lutely bang on (old chap)

Your assumption of your said personality traitsappears to hold water, when viewed from the both the highest peaks and the grass roots of our current social, political and economic climate that envelops the modern world that we, humans reside in, and have done so for many years of varying lengths.

My own personal reaction, one which is unique and very real to me but may also be held in great strength by other individuals, to your most recent statement based on a subject which both you, I and others have discussed (as was the nature of your original plea for intellectual but down-to-earth comments and participation, to which we are all contributing) is that, at this moment in time, I beleive, to the best of my knowledge:

You're a shit-stirrer, aren't ya?

Discuss the word discuss or the meaning of discuss or what discuss means to us?

I am not sure if I can discuss what it is you want to discuss unless I know the intent of what part of discuss you want to talk about. :D

I think that point needs more discussion amongst the group

From my experience there are three competing factors at work here, boredom, laziness and curiousity. It's like paper-rock-scissors and the three-body problem, if there were only two it wouldn't be anywhere near as complex. The cycle starts with curiousity, which is eventually defeated by bordom, so laziness sets in. But then curiosity can overcome laziness.

There is powerful scientific and mystical backing for this theory, witness the three colours of quarks in atomic modelling, and the triple of earth moon and sun. These are clearly analogous to curiosity boredom and laziness, in fact there is a deeper connection, but this connection is rather technical and its detailed description has no place here.

There are admittedly some that doubt the correctness of this theory, and I propose that these people should be forced to recognize the force and relevance of this theory, by some kind of extravagant and painful process involving the significance of three competing factors. I am reluctant to admit the precise nature of this process (only that it is both extravagant and painful), as it might cause people to fear the theory, rather than learn to love and respect it.

By goly..........I think your right. A group discussion needs to be had that relates to each of us and that we can all discuss at length and determine which part of the discussion should be or should not be valid?

Right-O..............:D

i think all parts of the discussion on this topic are valid and that nothing should be excluded, all parts are valid i believe.
