So far, my story has 15 threads, including the intoduction. Unfortunatly, they are all by me.:(

Oh, And yes, I have been planing to do some more threads to Geeks are Freaks, but I have also been trying to keep my story updated ever few days.

Anyone have some ideas they might want to add? Anything at all?

Following up on Gystex's and Jakelyon's replies to WattsIsnaim's question in the above thread, I'd add that for stories that limit the number of options to fewer than four, I often have trouble finding a place to add a new thread, even if I like the story in general. (I wonder if for two- or three- choice stories, it's better to have shorter threads for more decision points?)

I'd say that some stories really do ask you to cover the alternatives (e.g. AaronWebster's A Middle Class Orgy, where they define whether your character is male or female, married or single), but it helps in that case to leave the second-place threads with lots of options -- add hints on character and possible ways things might go, but not too much commitment to a specific path.

Hey,
you could always pay people! Or not. Perhaps just write for your own stories and wait. If it's a good story, it's only a matter of time before others will read it. Continually updating your story will make it appear on the Chyoo front page as a FRESH story. That in turn will make people see it, and read it. I think.
