I'm a returning student, taking a philosophy class as an elective. We're diving into Plato's The Republic, and to my surprise the more I read, the more I get turned on.

It seems that debating the true meaning of justice is a kink I didn't know I had. Anyone else out there recently discover a new kink?

Me too.

There is something compelling about serious discussion of philosophy that stimulates a neglected part of the brain. It scratches an intellectual itch and is almost sensual. I minored in both philosophy and sociology in college. Wait to you get to Emmanuel Kant. That guy really baked my noodle.

I wouldn't call it a kink, but it is an enjoyable mental exercise. We do it on this forum all the time, but some people get really serious about it.

Intellectual discourse has been a kink of mine since I was a child - I don't know if there is another kink for me to discover - I think the the most one might have been a fetish for straight FtM, women who want to be men but be treated like women, i.e., forced feminization.

There is a weird kind of symmetry there that I find attractive.
