dirtwrench

I don't know if this is the right place to post this. I'm not sure if I even should. On March 28, dirtwrench had a major heart attack. He was 46 years old. He died doing the farm work he loved. We spread his ashes on the land he grew up on. I don't know if anyone here will care but he loved this sight. There is a lot to do and take care of. He used to sit beside me and we looked at some stuff here. I can't sleep. I'm kind of lost right now. If this is the wrong place to put this, I'm sorry. Just thought there may be some who would want to know.

so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family

I'm sorry it ended but passing on while doing something you love is far for the worst way. At least that's what I tell myself when I reflect upon some of my own losses. My deepest sympathies and it's good to know you celebrated his life by returning him to the land that he loved so much.

My condolences.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family and friends.

Very sorry to hear this news. I saw his posts here on LIT. My thoughts and prayers for you and your family at this most difficult time.

I am so very sorry for your loss. He was a very sweet guy. My thoughts and well wishes to your family. Lit is usually a pretty loving community if you need to vent or talk in general. :rose::rose:

I m so sorry for you loss.
He was such a gentle soul, always a kind word.
He will so be missed.

A beautiful garden now stands alone,
missing the one who nurtured it
But now he is gone,
His flowers still bloom, and the sun it still shines,
But the rain is like tear drops, for the ones left behind,
The weeds lay waiting to take the gardens beauty away,
But the beautiful memories of its keeper are in our hearts to stay,
He loved every flower even some that were weeds,
So much love he would plant with each little seed.
Godspeed my friend. Forever in my heart.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Very sad news.

I did not know your husband but you have my deepest sympathy. May God give you the strength to persevere that you will need in the days and weeks ahead. :rose:

I'm so sad to hear this. He was a pleasant visitor to am pics. Thinking of you and your family at this time ā™”

He seemed a very good man, the community will miss him. We share your sense of loss, although not nearly as deeply. If you need it, you can find support here: people to share with and people who will listen. And care.

I am so sorry for your loss. I never had the opportunity to chat with him but he seemed very nice and respectful. It will take time getting over the loss of a spouse. Thank you for letting all of us in the Lit community know. He will be missed. Hugs to you. And you can come back and visit whenever you want. Friends are abundant on here.

Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
That, we still are.

Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?

I am but waiting for you.
For an interval.
Somewhere. Very near.
Just around the corner.

So very sorry for your loss and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I don't remember specifically interacting with him but do remember seeing his name around the boards. May you find peace during this time. :rose:

That's lovely, Honey. Seconded. It sounds like you both enjoyed Lit, to a degree. If you want to vent, talk, or share, please stay.

He was always a gentleman.
