I'm offended. Fjordland is a beautiful subtropical (damn near antarctic in fact) par of the south island of New Zealand. Fjord is a scandinavian word refering to marvelous coastal features created by glaciers. They appear in places like Alaska too.

More importantly it's the sort of place that Norwegan Blue's pine for. Beautiful plumage though.
Alternatively, they may not actually be pining, indeed they may be dead. Or perhaps just stuned because you bashed them on the counter top. I'm sure screaming in their 'ears' that it's their nine o'clock wake up call and would they like a banna didn't help either.
