Digital Drawing Tablet?

For once in my life, I might be looking at a future where I'll make enough money to not only pay my rent, my bills, and my food - AND get a little money left over.

I'm thinking of investing in a technical gizmo - a digital drawing tablet. Problem is, I can't decide which one is the best. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any recommendations? Any warnings?

These are my major choices:

Trust
WACOM Volito

I'm leaning towards the Volito, but I'm not sure. I want to be able to draw mangas and doll bases on the screen, instead of scanning them in manually. What do you think? Is any of these a good choice?

There's a rule: Don't ever trust Trust. Their stuff is just plain crap 90% of the time.

I could look around... what's ypur price range?

Good to know. I could probably go as high as 900SEK, but anything more than that just won't be worth it. And I just can NOT go below A5.

I use a Wacom Graphire all of the time instead of a mouse (old RSI problem). I think it's about the same size as the Volito in terms of the drawing area (A6) which I think might be small for sketching, unless the drawing package allows you to zoom in and just work on a portion of the image. The stylus pretty much feels like using a pen. I have no hesitation in recommending Wacom from my experience with the Graphire. A suggestion - try sketching with a pen or pencil in an A6 area and see how it goes. If the area suits you, get the Wacom.

Thank you so much!

I'm leaning more towards the Trust now, due to the size. But I WILL try out the method of drawing on A6 - if it's not TOO awkward, I might go for the Volito...

Apparently, Trust is a rather good choice for a beginner like myself... and then I could "upgrade" to a big-ass-Wacom later on. :)
