I'm thinking about a Sci-Fi, Romance, Lesbian, Inter-Racial, Erotic-Horror story.

I was thinking of a Female Starship captain who meets and falls in love with a cannabalistic, female Galaphraian or something. Any ideas?

Well.......... You could also pull in the Quantum Leap crowd, have a sexy graduate assistnat researcher get caught in a virtual reality system that is in fact a dimensioanl transporter, and have her "leap" into a female starship captain, who falls in love with a woman, only to find her very much like a Praying Mantis and after mating eats her. Gives you room to be as free with ideas as you like being "virtual" and plus you have the battle between the lab assistant's mentality and the captain's, but they both feel the pleasure so it would even be a bit of a three way in a way.

Interesting idea, but I'm not following where the horror part lies unless the cannibal being lusted after is eating her crew in a bad way.

I think would be better to take a twist on that, and the few hentai that are based on that idea and instead the cannibal isn't eating the crew, something else is. That way you can have the captain falling hard for her while the crew is disapearing, she doesn't want to think it's her, but looks that way. When the captain can't help herself and takes the cannibal to bed, another crew person dies so she knows it's not her girlfriend. ;)

This isn't really my area, but I'll try to contribute.
First let's take these eliments one by one.

Female starship captain
There is pleanty of stuff to do here with her race.
First establish why she is on a starship, and why she is captain, but give the history of her people at the same time.
Does she look like a human enough to excite us?
Is she biological, robotic, or genetically created with cybernetic implants?
Does she have a crew, and where and how were they recruted?

Let's not involve copyrighted works that have stories already established.

A cannibal from another race can have a play on words, as in "eating out of".
That is, the shemale can inject some nannites into your system while you are unconscious, take over your body movement as well as literally being your eyes and ears (as well as touch).
When he/she is done with the perverse control over you, he/she will eat you from the inside out, as if a zombie gave you a lobotomy.

I'd rather have the time traveler more of a disembodied voice from another time, who eventually finds his way to create a physical hologram, but not like Al from Quantum Leap, an image and voice that can be seen and heard by anyone on the ship.
This means creatures on the viewscreens cannot see or hear him.
Since his image can jump anywhere on the ship at any time, this is a good plot point.

By the way, in all the episodes of Star Trek (TNG), I've seen only 1 bathroom for four hundred billion people.

Actually, after thinking about this, I had something in mind along the ideas of a cross between Alien and the short story Who Goes There. Rather than being at an arctic station it would take place on a deep space ship and the alien would eat then take the form and place of various crew members while trysting with the Captain and others before eathing them too. The drama would be trying to figure out who's alien and who's not. Another twist could be the alien could clone itself and have more than one running around.

That sounds alot like The Thing, the remake with Kurt Russell. Not a bad thing, but I don't know, doesn't really lend itself to erotica unless you change it a tad.

Instead of becoming the human, it infects the human so there are more than one. Would leave it erotic and still give you that who is and who isn't problem. ;)

"Who Goes There" was written in 1949 by Jack Williamson (I think) and became the basis for the original movie "The Thing" in 1952 then remade with Kurt Russell in the 90's.

The more I think about this the weirder it gets. If the alien can clone itself it can have sex with its own clone for a kind of perfect incest side to the plot too. That's kinda kewl. It goes in other strange directions too. It could have an orgy with itself and members of the crew. The Captian could have an alien lesbian tryst with a clone of herself. Hmmm... endless possibilities.

I like the idea of a female starship captain, that's hawt. But a canibalistic Galaphraian? As in a Time Lord?

I loved that movie, but I think it would have been even better if instead of killing and absorbing people, the alien just ran around trying to hump everything in sight.

I like the way your mind works Jenny.

I think it was John W. Campbell, actually. The editor of Astounding Science Fiction for many years, who nurtured such greats as Asimov and Heinlein......Carney

That might be right, Carney. I read that story as a teen 20 years ago. Thinking back, Jack Williamson was writing robot stories around 1950, so Campbell is more likely.

Actually, Human, my cute little friend, ( )
The first half of the 1952 film version (staring James Arness as the monster) is a very close adaption of the Novella. The last half is strictly Hollywood.

In the Kurt Russell version the fist half is pure Hollywood, but the last half is very close to the original story. I've often wondered if they would re-release it with the first half of the old film and the last half of the newer version stuck together. :D

They also made a video game sequel to The Thing where a group of soldiers went to investigate the disappearance of all the scientists. I never did finish it, it was too damn creepy.

One idea might be to make the cannibal more like the monster in the movie Species. A creature that looks human and may have human DNA but can transform into a evil bastard monster. So she could easily move through the crew, having sex with them, and then devouring them afterwards.

Good thought. ;)

Although I usually seem to butt heads with Fantasies_only, I do like parts of his idea, such as the alien taking control of the human's body with nanites or microbes or something like that, and then consuming the human from the inside out when they're done. You could have the parasites take control of the motor centers of the brain, controling the body while the host is stuck going along for the ride.

Gradually have them spreading into other parts of the brain, controling the host's emotions and finally thoughts, before the parasites spread to the rest of the body and then disolve it, starting at the brain and then breaking down the rest of the insides, consuming them by sucking them out of any handy opening in the body (actually, the sixth chapter in the Lustful Summoning series on Lit had a redheaded succubus consume a club bouncer this way while giving him a blowjob. All the succubi except for the main one in that series had themes, with the redhead being themed after a black widow spider).

The alien could use the parasites to get various crewmembers to do her bidding, such as sending her more prey ("Hey Bob, Commander Smith wants to see you in Cargo Bay 3. Yeah, the really dark one."), keeping the ship's crew off-balance by committing sabotage to various systems, or just keeping various members distracted by seducing them (and possibly "pumping" them for information :nana: )

The Captain would necessarily be the last, or one of the last crewmembers remaining on the ship by the end of the story, desperate and trying to find a way to defeat the alien, or you could have her be a false protaganist and take her out well before the end after developing her heavily, leaving another crewman to finish the story (or be finished by the story)

And of course, in the vein of dark endings, you could always have her be infected by the parasites just before she escapes the self-destructing ship, killing the alien but spreading the parasites to the crew of another ship newly-arrived to recover her escape pod (maybe without the control of the alien, the mind-control parasites just render the host into a sex fiend)

My first rection too, but Galafrey is spelled with an F rather then a PH...so perhaps they are another race entirely.

I  Romana II and Rose Tyler
I :p Tom Baker and Christopher Eccleston

I could just stare at that picture for hours........ what were we talking about earlier?

You're right, Human (ya little hottie you :p ) Leela was his best companion.

And, Squirt, Tom Baker was the best Dr. Who... :)

What, am I the only one who's favorite Doctor was Paul McGann?

Granted, I only like him the most because I'm a Horatio Hornblower fan, so eh.

Back to the topic! :nana:

There is a possibility of marrying the two ideas of the starship captian who is a time lord buzzing around the universe (and time) in a tardis with the alien eating up the crew/companions. But that sounds like the beginning of a whole series.

Well, I'd avoid making her a right-out time lord, but you could so something like in the book Nagasaki Vector, where you have a starship that travels to a location, then disgorges a smaller space ship that is incapable of Faster-than-light travel, but IS capable of time travel. So you go to a star system where the star died a thousand years ago, then travel back in time 5 thousand years to see what there is worth studying there.

Maybe one of the time-travel teams found something they should have left alone?

I have always found the possibilities of the holo-deck fascinating. Imagine this: A young lieutenant uses it to create sexual scenarios with his female captain; she finds out and slips in and take the place of the computer simulation and lets the young man play with her. There are some interesting possibilities there.
