Anybody that's had multiple clocks at once... do they tick different?

What's weird is that multiple digital clocks that are all suppoed to sync to web time flip minutes differently.

Heard once about some guy who stayed home and collected clocks. One day, when he was sixty-nine, he finally admitted his real problem was that he was a clock sucker.

Hmm...I would've thought there would be more clock-lovers around here. Oh well, maybe over the weekend we'll get some good stories about receiving multiple clocks at once.

Well, even then they're syncing to a few different reference clocks. For example, if I recall correctly Windows clocks sync to an atomic clock at the US National Institute of Standards & Technology, but that's not the only atomic clock around. And while atomic clocks are very accurate in the sense that they gain or lose very minute (pun intended) amounts of time, they're not necessarily synchronized with each other.

I'm sure if you're really relaxed and listen to a ticking clock not all the the tick-tocks are evenly spaced. Stranger still is if you watch a clock occasionally the second pointer seems to go in reverse.
