Did you know?

That is a beautiful story - I wish something like that would be broadcast loudly in every country that is filled with hate for the U.S.

Yes, I'm very angry.

I'm also teary-eyed at seeing the pictures this morning of captured Americans. Some are still alive, some dead, many of whom they say were shot in the forehead.

But I suppose I can't expect humane responses from a leader who is using the women and children of his country as human shields.

I hope we get this done quickly.

EE- that's a great story, and one I happen to know a bit about. My maternal grandfather was assigned to Camp Hale during WWII, where quite a few German POWs were detained. He was a guard.

I'll never forget his stories about his time there- some funny, some sad, but all thought-provoking.

I used to have a few online resources tied to the U.S. camps used for POWs during WWII, but they were all military message boards with sporadic postings from men who were looking for friends from that era, with whom they had lost touch. If I find them again, though, I'll let you know.

Remembering in Russia,
Ellie

No biting.

No eye gauging.

No fish-hooking.

Oh, punching penis is illegal too.
