Did you get hit on when you started posting stories? Male writers, what about you? did the females who frequent this site hit on you?

I've had one person of indeterminate gender ( claimed to be female ) send a few complimentary -- and steadily more racy -- emails on stories, culminating in sending a picture and a request to "get to know me better" while going on about how her husband doesn't understand her.

I sort of let those emails languish for ever longer periods without answer until they finally stopped. Red flags were going up everywhere *laugh*

That's the closest thing to getting hit on I've experienced. The female members are prone to getting hit on almost immediately, from what I understand. The more suggestive the profile, ava, or bio photo, the quicker and more creepy the hits are.

Yes, I did. I get "let's get to know each other better" hits for my GM stories from GMs and from claimed females who think their husbands would enjoy a threesome.

I post under a some female pen names here and when the stories started, I got such hits from purported males. None have persisted. (But I haven't told any of them I'm a male, either.)

I've gotten photos of genitalia in both instances. I wonder which of them were from Brett Favre.

Honey, I haven't posted anything in two years and I still get hit on. I get e-mails where guys confuse me with my character and invitations to role-play in chats.

I guess some people think if you write smut you must live your life the same way your characters do.

If you consider a few hundred (or thereabouts) PMs as getting hit on, then yeah.

I get hit on a lot, but never by a familiar name. It's always someone who has less than three posts.

The pics are nice. I always send a gracious thank you.

I get hit on all the time. The hitters don't realize I'm male. My pen name is female, and I license a picture of a punk female that I use as a profile pic (it's the "cover" of my ebook).

I do have one regular female correspondent who contacted me from the GLBT Chatter forum and I'm not sure she realized I am an M2F crossdresser, but she does now. We're both sluts, so we have a lot in common.

I was just talking about this with my husband, because I seem to spend a whole lot of my time on the bulletin board, and on my yahoo account, dodging "would you like to come out and play?" invitations. The photo on my Lit account also attracts interesting offers, and for awhile I took it down. Now I just politely refuse requests to chat with anyone who I don't know. It certainly made me feel all attractive and sexy for about 15 minutes, though!

I don't really get hit on, maybe because of my age. I do get emails telling me how much some women wished I lived nearer to them, and I have had emails from men, purportedly, over gay male stories I have written. :)

Unfortunately not.

But I've chatted with another author (male) who's written a two part story from the point of view of the mom in in an interracial story invovling the daughter, and he gets messages from guys thinking the story is real and that he (the author) is that woman.

I get the occasional hit from a guy or a gal, although I haven't posted a story in a while.

The funniest one was from a guy who'd read one of my Lesbian Sex stories, thought I was female, and wanted to 'change' me over to men. I told him thanks, but I wasn't interested and gave him a link to my bio. Never heard from him again. :D

Not as me. I think the AV, a picture of the real me, deters most.

But as Jeanne D'Artois - yes. Despite the statements in 'her' profile some think she's a sexy French female.

Og

Yup. Here and on other forums. So much so that my wife (whom I met later) imposed a very long moratorium on me posting stories to forums.

Nope. Not unless I am completely forgetting something that happened in the distant past.

Yes, but not for sex. for stories.

As I always end up saying, women seem to like my prepositions far better than my propositions.

:D Here and and other sites I'm a member of.

Especially when I used to roleplay. lolololol I find it amusing, mostly.

I still think she's sexy!

I got hit on a lot, but about half were guys. This was before I had an avatar up, and the name Boota isn't gender specific without a pic. Most said they thought that due to my writing I was a woman. I let them down easy and took the writing erotica like a woman part as a great compliment. After the pic came up it was strictly women. I still occasionally receive some nice pics from appreciative readers.

Not by anyone within 700 miles of my home. There were several halfway across the country.
