Seriously.

I’m curious if anyone was swayed enough by President Biden’s admittedly shaky performance, or the corrupt orange traitor’s dodging of questions and lying, to change who they’re voting for???

🤔

Yeah, me neither…

😑

It’s still all about Federal and Supreme Court nominations, social policy , tax policy / economic policy, foreign policy, environmental policy, and the basic decency of the person holding the office of the presidency who I trust to protect and defend the constitution and democracy.

It still President Biden.

👍

Nope. Biden is old and has a bad night amongst an otherwise very good presidency. Trump only wants the presidency for the legal protection it provides. Conservative Republicans and the maga crowd want Trump for the presidency so they can enact project 2025.

I'm not just voting for a single individual. I'm voting for policies and an administration.

You mean you don’t want the guy who can’t get the endorsement by his previous cabinet??

I bet the Convict in chief really misses Meatloaf.

That's just the thing I like quite a bit of Biden's policies but abhor others like his handling of Isreal and the genocide going on in Gaza. I'm still on the fence whether that's a red line for me in November or not. Probably won't know for sure until I'm in the voting booth.

I understand. I would like a bit more or different approach with Gaza as well.

Trump will support turning it into rubble so Israel can come in and claim it.

Yeah lesser of 2 evils once again 🙄.

Why is it the only difference on Isreal between him and Trump is how quickly they'll drop trousers and bend over and how loudly they'll squeal like a pig for bibi?

You would think the other would clearly take the opposite position of ceasefire or negotiating peace, but that's been so thoroughly smeared as pro-hamas antisemitism that only shades of rah rah go ethnic cleansing is acceptable.

The choice is what the choice is.

The reality is that this is a product of a people who can't be bothered to get involved, be informed and to vote.

Less than 1 in 15 people vote in every election. Generals, midterms, primaries, locals. (It drops way way lower for locals btw.)
More than 4 in 10 never vote at all. Ever.
Less than 1 in 10 vote in primaries. (Less than 15% of Bernie supporters showed up to vote for him in the 2016 primary.)

We have the government that reflects our level of interest in it.

I will vote for Biden, but I wish I had a better choice. I have always liked Joe Biden, but I wish he announced early in his first term that he would not run for reelection. That would have given another Democrat a chance to rise, and give Trump a good contest.

I used to think that although we have had incompetents in the White House, whenever we needed a great leader we found one. I was thinking mainly of Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Roosevelt.

We need a great leader now. Where is he?

When I was in college I had a friend who was 6'4"" tall, slender and broad shouldered. He was as handsome as John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, John Lindsey, and Robert Redford, and in the same craggy, aristocratic way.

His high school guidance counselor told him he had the highest IQ in the school. He was on the all state football team.

When he applied to my university the Dean of Admissions looked at his application, and offered him a full tuition football scholarship.

He said, "Thank you, but I already have a part time job lined up."

His part time job was serving as a Senate aide to Hubert Humphrey. Once, my friend introduced me to the Senator in his office.

What happened to my friend? Did he die in a car crash? He should have been debating Trump last night.

It is not hard to find the digital scraps of anyone that you may have known in the past. Unless your friend was John Smith.

But I think it is time for Baby Boomers to retire and let the younger generations take over. Boomers have run things for the past 30 years. It is time to move on.

It did not.

I will find it odd if the public voices for Biden to step down aren't loud as fuck after that debate, though. I think he should and endorse Harris. That being said, I don't think there was any plan to do so and that it will end up being Biden's choice no matter what the outcome.

How could you be on the fence, given the options? Seriously, can't you read the situation?

There’s no genocide going on in Gaza. That’s an antisemitic smear that Jew-haters repeat ad infinitum.

It made me hopeful that Biden’s family might pull him back
Kamela for President
Newsome as her VP
But? Vote for ex ‘resident ‘rump?? Ha!
My relatives in Europe would disown me
