I think just like you that it's always been around especially the ancient Greeks and Romans but in the mid 1900's at least to me it wasn't as obvious. I'm thinking sexual desire didn't change it was just kept hidden.

Yes, we did,or at least some of us did. I'm in my late 80's, and had bi experiences from a young age. It was probably less common then because of the times.
