What's a knish?: From Yiddish, meaning a small round or square of dough stuffed with a filling, such as potato, and baked or fried.

I'm not Jewish but I grew up a New Yorker ... knishes are kinda like potato filled egg rolls. Yummy with salt and sometimes mustard.
Now .... have you ever heard of a blintz?
