Or did the Governor of California's calculus include either President Biden or Vice President Harris losing in this election?

Is eight years of Kamalot too long to wait for those who salivate?

Like Shapiro, he's not in the #2 position...

I Am Third?

Did he Miss-Calculate? Or is he strutting on the chessboard while she chicken-Walz-es at checkers?

Gavin's career has been marked by one miscalculation after another, he's left a trail of political failure and societal ruin.

You're drowning in your KDS.

12 threads on her since her coup.

Yet he is one Miss Calculation from achieving the sum of his political calculus and in a much shorter period of time than did Joe Biden, President-in-Exile.

Who do you think passes first?

President Carter or President Biden?

I know. I know. You haters.

Or Trump since y'all convinced he's one Big Mac™ away from certain death...

I'll give him this, in presentation he is as slick as Willie and possesses as sharp a crease as cool-ass Barak.

He's locked up maybe half of the vote right there.

Californication and eye candy...

He has definitely miscalculated on the issue of law and order within his state. The evidence will be delivered on November 5 when statewide voters decisively pass Prop 36 and when of LA voters give the boot to DA George Gascone (who BTW was endorsed by Kamala Harris in 2020).

That will be portrayed, with gusto and the volume knob turned to 11, as nothing more than right-wing misinformation and under the Harris-Walz administration, most possibly a hate crime to distribute, like child porn.

Things are GREAT! in Californication...

I've sorta read through Prop 36 and the passing is going to be a hell of a lot easier than the implementing. First of all there's the financial impact of the Prop. and then there's going to be a lot of organizations throwing up roadblocks. I hope the people get what they are expecting out of it................but I'm not holding my breath.

It’s largely a repeal of the Soros-backed Prop 47 which 60% of CA voters approved in 2014. The price tag for that has been in the form of a dramatic increase in shoplifting and looting, open air drug use, vagrancy and panhandling. Buyers remorse has set in big time.

Don't forget the loss of jobs as a result of companies closing and/or moving out of California because of the crime/social/excessive tax problem.

Understood. It's the 'mandated treatment' inclusion that's going to be troublesome. There is a serious shortage of treatment facilities. This is going to leave the door open for a ton of snake oil salesmen to set up shop on the public's dollar.

The problem D have is that they believe in their fantasy worldview that mankind as an overall whole isn't the offal they've proven themselves to be time and time again. So they pass laws which limit the good while encouraging the bad.

And then they wonder what happened. Again. It's like they've never even considered the fact that even "Sin City" has restrictions to prevent the crap that the D's consider "essential."

I don’t place much faith in mandated treatment having much impact on reducing addiction either. It’s outpatient, participation is not strictly enforced, and success rates are low even under the best of circumstances. The main benefit of a return to the pre-Prop 47 days is the threat of jail as a deterrent. Newsom grossly misjudged public sentiment on this issue.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

As I said, a prefect situation to soak the public with no accountability.

Fortunately we have “before Prop 47” and a decade of “after Prop 47” data to compare. Also a sufficient volume of “before Gascon” and “after Gascon” data. Voters are hoping Prop 36 and dumping shitty DAs will reverse the trends.

So Newsun is Governor of California.

And that bothers you all?

Is that the tl dr here or are you suggesting something else?

Good luck.

Are people still whining about Soros contributing to Democrat candidates, whilst Musk is funding the felon for half a billion, and Harlan Crow is busy bribing anyone who will sit down for long enough?

The alternative is to vote no and hope the post Prop 47 trend goes away. Spoiler alert: It won’t.
Of course not. It's the democrat way, create a problem, amplify it, promise to 'fix' it, and do nothing when elected. There are republicans that pull the same shit. Perpetual problems equal perpetual campaign issues.

Well that seals it. I'm definitely not voting for him for President this November.

The rock-solid belief that is present in every culture, and from time-to-time erupts, especially in a "democracy" and manifests itself in such things as Prohibition. The belief that Human Nature can be altered and changed if we just collectively put our minds to it.

A perfect, happy kingdom of abundance and beauty watched over by a benevolent king, a kingdom of peasant equality where none wanted...

Please think about it.
