Did Anyone See Mariah Carey's Movie This Weekend?

I read some really horrific reviews of "Glitter", and I wondered if anyone here got a chance to see it. It sounded like the plot was something similar to Coyote Ugly, but the reviewers were downright cruel. Any Lit members care to share their own opinions? I'm curious about the movie.

Did not see that but did see The Glass house. I thought it was good and Leelee Sobeski is hot too. Polish girls with long legs are sexy. She looks alot like my gf just with 3 extra inches of height.

There is no way I would spend my hard to get money on Mariah Carey...Eeeeeeeep.. She really makes me ill. Her and Kathy Lee Gifford...those two could fall off the face of the planet....

I did go see Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. I thought it was pretty damn funny. Of course, I have seen all Kevin Smith's other movies, so this one was sort of a culmination. I know there will be a lot of people offended by the movie, but if those same people would stay and watch the credits then they wouldn't be as offended. Anyhow, I thought it rocked.

I'm thinking a cross between Fame, Star 80, and Showgirls. This I've gotta see.

Nope, I didn't see it this weekend. I won't see it ANY weekend. I'm not a Mariah fan. I'm with KM... if I had dogs, I'm sure they would howl at the sound of her voice.

I had free tickets to it. Got up in the middle because it was boring. This one should be to video by the end of October. It isn't the worst movie. It just lacks something to engage the audience.

I think Mariah has got an incredible voice and I really admired her before she became a hooker. I have watched her most recent videos, though.... and see that she is a terrible actress in those.... so WHY would anyone in their right mind put her in their MOVIE????
