the wreckage of the coalition supposedly stray bomb?

They were if you were looking at the aljezrra reporter right above his left shoulder in the rubble.

It was kinda funny that the Iraq/aljezrra reporter made no mention of them, just that the bomb hit the "civilian target behind him. How many civilians would have three rocket gernade launchers in there home or office?

Did you see the video clip of the Iraqi Militia on Reuters? They were sitting behind sandbags cleaning their guns and one guy came within an inch of taking his own head off.

Mistakes are bound to happen on both sides.

I'm sure it's like the States.

A gun in every drawer. A rocket launcher in every closet :D

ah that explains it, I knew there had to be a calm, cool, rational reason for there to be rocket launchers in the debris and rubble of a "civilian" building

And every civilian death adds a dozen more fighters for the Jihad.

So what are you saying? That they're not allowed to fight back?

Truth be told who knows. It's all conjecture, guesses and propaganda.

But I admit I missed the launcher when I saw the report. Will have to take a closer look.

PS. CDs are done. I'll mail em Tom or Sat.

damn, I mised that one, is it still up? do you have a link?

I still remember being at the rifle range practicing with my grandfather learning to shoot a gun for the first time.

the only thing I had fired to that point waqs a pump up bb gun that you could put a piece of wet napkin over the barrel and the pellet could pass through.

1st gun he tried me on was a 22 felt good, not any amount of kick

next gun was a double barrel shotgun, I was getting ready to shot it, grampy stopped me and told me to pull both triggers at the same time, so me figuring it wouldn't be much different than the 22 {young and niave} I pulled both triggers, knocked myself back about 10 feet into the fender of the truck, OUCH damned grandfathers idea of a joke.

So if the five million people in Baghdad all kill themselves, there will be a force of 60 million people? Wow.

We can't even be sure which side did it yet. I'm of the opinion that. Yes it may of been our fault. Whether it's off target or accidental or what. But that stone age crap the Iraqis are sending up has a slightly greater chance to go astray.

Step one of cleaning any firearm: BE SURE THE WEAPON IS UNLOADED.

Very Darwinian.

How are you getting onto the site? It seems to be down (hacked).

This was on CNN when they were replaying he video with an english translation of what the reporter was saying. Even the gal that cued the video made no mention of the launcher

If the reports of the russian GPS jammers are true, and I believe they are the more evidence that pops up seems to confirm them, then I could easily accept allie bombs going astray.

I also would put it past Saddam to have his men purposely rocket thier own civiliam buildings or dynamite them for that matter as from most of the debris I see of ally bombing versus the suspect bombings show a blow out circumfrence all around the buildings as if the explosive was in the building blowing outward all aroundin the suspect bombings where as allie ombings seem to have a unidriectional debris field as if the bomb goes in one side and explodes out the other

Ah yes, all good points. I just think its a little early to start pointing fingers. Hell, for all we know there was a mobile missle launcher in the alley behind it.

very true paganj

for all we know we may never know the true cause, but its the speculation until we can know that makes the game fun, wouldn't you agree?

That's a terrible sentence. I had to say it. Sorry. Back to you.
