Dick Trickle is dead.

Wouldn't surprise me if you get some stone age jokes out of this.

The name doesn't ring a bell. Sad ending though for another law abiding citizen.

In Cranston there waqs a councilman named Rod Driver, I used to think that was bad.

All I can think about is in school the teacher would call out......"Trickle? Dick?

Dick Trickle or Trickle, Dick. Best. name. evah.

Definitely the most unfortunate name in entertainment. I might feel bad about it if the guy hadn't been a complete jackass. (My dad knew him.)

He might not have been a complete jackass if his parents had named him Robert, Charles, Edward, Harold, Steven, Fred, George, Wayne, Ralph, Thomas, etc......

We (well, the nearby city and not the town I actually live in) had a mayor named Harry Baals. Recently it made national news and late night talk shows when they refused to name the government center after him even though the people wanted it.

Dick Trickle was known for steering his race car with his knees while he lit his cigarette.

I thought you were joking till I saw a news article this morning. I used to work with a guy named Dick Burns. It was often difficult not to snicker in meetings. Why would a guy choose Dick over Rich or Richard or some such? It seems so profoundly dumb.

There was a man in my city named Delicious Peters. He was kind of proud of the name and had it printed on his checks.

How much trouble would be to say, "Hi, my name is Del Peters?"

Well at least his name has a positive connotation. Whenever Dick Burns' name came up (among the women I worked with), someone would always say "ouch."
